Note From The Owner

Learning to dive, for me, was a life changing experience. I took by Discover Scuba Diving experience in Ibiza in 1994 and I was hooked from the moment I took my first breath underwater, it really was like opening a door into another dimension !! I remember, even now, the feeling of exhileration of freedom of weightlessness. The vast array of colour and life astouded me so much so that I spent many hours thinking about diving and of course every opportunity I got I was in the water ! I lived in England which meant that diving was demanding to say the least. Cold and heavy work but still most weekends (work permitting) I would be under the water in one quarry or another looking at car wrecks, caravans,  airplane cockpits...... yes  I said cockpits !!! Amazing the things that are put in the water to keep us entertained.  Then I made the decision to 'go and do it' I travelled to Australia and completed my Instructor development course with Deep Sea Divers Den In Cairns. Since then I have travelled and worked right around the globe, I have seen some amazing sites and met many many amazing people who's paths I would never had crossed had it not been for Scuba Diving !! Teaching for me took diving to the next plain, I get such a buzz out of teaching people to dive. For the people who are very nervous whos faces are just beaming once they surface from their very first dive in that moment they know, I know that they have just changed their lives forever ..... the door to another dimension is now well and truly open !!

I now live in Mexico and run a diving school in Playa Del Carmen. Reef Quest Divers and I sincerley look forward to meeting you one day soon.
